The short version: Lopari is built by one person who does not want your data. The launcher does not phone home. This website does not track you. If a future feature ever needs to collect something, you will be asked first and given a way to say no.

Who runs this

Lopari and lopari.app are operated by an individual developer publishing under the itsloopyo handle. Contact: Bluesky @itsloopyo.

What the Lopari desktop app collects

Nothing about you, personally. The launcher runs entirely on your machine. It reads:

The launcher does not send analytics, telemetry, crash reports, usage metrics, or any other data to any server operated by us.

What this website collects

This site is a plain static page hosted on GitHub Pages. No analytics, no advertising, no A/B testing, no behavioral tracking.

Your browser may exchange standard request metadata (IP address, user-agent, requested URL) with the hosting provider in order to serve the page. Those logs are managed by the hosting provider; see GitHub's privacy statement.

Cookies

None. The site sets no cookies and uses no local storage.

The Patreon integration

If you support the project via Patreon, Patreon collects information from you as their customer. We may receive, through Patreon's standard creator interface, your Patreon display name, tier, pledge status, and any message you choose to send. That information is used only to acknowledge support and deliver tier rewards.

If we publish a Patreon-connected app (for example, to verify supporter status inside Lopari), the only thing requested from Patreon's API is whether you are an active patron. Your email, payment details, or anything beyond what is required to gate the supporter feature will not be stored. You can revoke access at any time from your Patreon settings.

The lawful basis under UK GDPR for processing your Patreon identifier and supporter status is your consent, given by linking your Patreon account from within Lopari. You may withdraw consent at any time by unlinking the account in Lopari's settings; this deletes the locally stored tokens and ends the eligibility check.

Third parties we touch

No data is shared with any of these parties beyond the technical minimum required to deliver the page or feature.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict its processing, and to data portability where it applies. Because no user database is kept, there is usually nothing to act on. If you have messaged us on Bluesky or via Patreon and want that correspondence purged, contact us at the address below and it will be done.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.

Children

Lopari is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and it will be deleted.

Changes

If this policy ever changes in a way that meaningfully affects what we collect or how we use it, the "last updated" date above will move and the change will be noted in the project's release notes.

Contact

Questions, concerns, or requests (including UK GDPR data requests): email legal@lopari.app, or DM @itsloopyo on Bluesky.
